CAMPS BAY ...a long stretch of golden sand adjacent to Victoria Road Marine Drive's parade of curbside restaurants this is the place to be seen and is packed in summer with beautiful bodies. Great for families with tidal pool and grassy knolls, easy to rent umbrellas and lounges though less easy to find parking. Camps Bay	SANDY BAY - LLANDUDNO ...worth the 20 minute walk from Llandudno this is Cape Town's only official nudest beach though don't let this put you off as it's a lovely secluded location accessed via a winding pathway through rocky outcrops and up to you if you want to bare all! Sandy Bay
LLANDUDNO ...overlooked by some huge amazing villas this lovely bay is not as crowded as Camps Bay and Clifton beaches and feels a lot more relaxed. Llandudno	HOUT BAY ...massive long stretch of sand between Chapman's Peak and the working harbour. Enjoy fish and chips, the weekend market and their are a couple of beach side restaurants to enjoy the views. Hout Bay
CLIFTON ...driving along Millionaire's Row with penthouses clinging to every rock face and expensive yachts on the horizon you could miss the discrete stepped pathways that snack through these wealthy properties accessing four small beaches. Follow the bronzed bodies; Clifton 3 attracts the gay crowd. All can be very busy in season and very much a place to be seen though at times a little crammed! Clifton	SEA POINT PROMENADE ...not so much sand but just around the corner this very popular stretch of grass & walkway from Moule Point then Granger bay to Sea Point Pool overlooking rocky outcrops attracts all sorts. Take a stroll, jog, ride and enjoy local art, outdoor gym, kids playgrounds and see all walks of life. Sea Point
MUIZENBERG ...it might not have the glamour of Clifton or Camps Bay but it does have slightly warmer water! This long stretch of sand is ideal for families having calmer waters and popular with surfers. Muizenberg	LANGEBAAN LAGOON ...drive 1.5hrs out of Cape Town up the coast and head into the West Coast Nature. This 40,000ha of reserve is a lovely drive and you end up on the opposite side of Langebaan overlooking the whole lagoon at Kraalbaai; amazing peaceful beach. West Coast Nature Reserve
SCARBOROUGH ...located down the peninsula and an hours drive from the city this small quiet village has a lovely beach which is one of the best for surfing and fishing. Scarborough	TABLE BAY & BLAUUBERG ...from Milnerton to Melkbos Strand this massive stretch of coastal area looks back across Table Bay and has the best views of the city and mountain. Popular with kite and windsurfers also highlights that it can be very windy.
