CAPE TOWN CYCLE TOUR Annual event that started in 1978 - 35,000 lycra clad cyclists take over the city for a weekend in one of the most scenic cycle tours in the world. Competitive and casual enthusiasts follow a 100km+ circular route around the Cape Peninsula. RUNNING RACES Cape Town and the surrounding area has a full calendar of runs catering for all shapes and sizes, distances and courses. There are walks, trail & road runs ranging from a couple of kilometers to full marathons.
