CITYSIGHTSEEING HOP ON - HOP OFF BUS

...this is a great way to see the city and pennisula. Running two routes that include major tourist attractions you can get off and explore then get back on and travel some more. Ticket office outside Two Oceans Aquarium in the V&A Waterfront.

...take a morning or day to stroll from Long Street up through the city to Kloof Street. From shopping to coffee, architecture to museums & galleries. This is a vibey section of Cape Town; at night there is a mulitude of music styles and a myriad of culinary choices to suit all pockets.

There are now personally guided tours of these informal settlements which offer a different perspective on the South Africa most tourists choose to visit. Local schools, craft centres and a sheebeen (informal pub) are some of the locations that will broaden your horizons.

CHAPMAN'S PEAK

...you'll need a car to drive this treacherous toll road between Hout Bay and Noordhoek but the journey is worth it. This is a spectacular drive where the road clings to the rock face with huge overhangs and vast wire netting to catch potential falling rocks.
